Thoughts on Design:
The logo should work well on a small scale (such as letterhead and return envelopes) as well as large scale (posters). It should have a clear gray scale version (for cheaper production) as well as a 4-color version (maybe even a 2-color version). There might be a purely graphic version, one with "RGVFG", one with "Rio Grande Valley Farmers' Guild" depending on scale.

For a color scheme, blue, green and brown (water, crops, land) would seem appropriate and would work with a very stylized treatment.

The logo should be distinct and clear in its design so that upon seeing the logo, someone will think “RGV Farmers Guild.”

About Us

The Rio Grande Valley Farmers Guild is a new cooperative of family farms located in New Mexico's fertile Rio Grande Valley.

Our members farms are concentrated in Albuquerque's historically agricultural South Valley, extending as far south as Socorro and north to Bernalillo.

One of our first projects as a cooperative is the Cereal Grains Project, making local and naturally cultivated whole grains and flours available to local markets, restaurants and direct to the families of New Mexico.

We welcome your interest. Send us an email to get involved or find out more about our projects.
