The root, seeds and flowering tops of Echinacea purpurea and angustifolia are harvested separately for peak potency and steeped in organic alcohol a minimum of 6 weeks.

Echinacea is an excellent herb for many viral and bacterial infections. It strengthens the immune system against pathogenic infection by stimulating phagocytosis and T-Cell formation, has blood cleansing properties, and is useful in treating acne, bronchitis, colds and flu, herpes, congestion, psoriasis, and tonsillitis. It can alos be used externally to soothe infected or painful hangnails, splinters and insect bites.
