Wild mugwort (Artemesia vulgaris) is cultivated from our gardens at peak potency and steeped in organic alcohol for a minimum of six weeks.

Mugwort has a long history of use as a bitter, digestive stimulant, It has a mild nervine action in aiding depression and easing tension, insomnia and nervousness. Mugwort is also used to bring on delayed or suppressed menstrual cycle and may help to regulate menstrual cycles.

Mugwort, also known as cronewort, is used to enhance dreams and psychic abilities and wards off negative energies and weariness. One folk name for Mugwort is Traveler’s Herb, recalling its use in shoes to keep up strength during long walks and give protection during journeys. Often grown in Moon gardens, Mugwort is a magical herb sacred to Artemis.
