Plantain leaves are hand harvested from our gardens and infused in Greek extra-virgin olive oil.
Plantain has a long history of use as a gentle massage oil and salve for bruises, bug bites, swellings, scarring, strained ligaments, muscles or tendons, rashes and skin irritations. Plantain is often used as a drawing agent, to draw out thorns, splinters or other foreign material.
A popular healing salve can be made by heating 1 part beeswax to 3 parts
plantain oil. A wonderful green-garden salve can be created by blending
plantain oil with calendula oil, comfrey oil, chickweed oil and lavender
essential oil Please store your oils in a cool dry place or in the refrigerator and use within one year. If stored in the fridge, the oil will solidify. Bring to room temperature before using.
