Hand-harvested violet leaves and blossoms are infused in Greek extra-virgin olive oil to create a wonderfully nourishing massage oil.

Violet infused oil is a gentle and cooling oil used to soften skin and soothe dry rashes, eczema, cradle cap and hives. Violets have been used historically as a drawing herb for boils, pimples and to shrink or check growths and cysts. Violet has a long history of folk use as a complementary therapy in the treatment of cancer, especially breast cancer.

A healing salve can be made by heating 1 part beeswax to 3 parts violet oil. A variety of green-garden salves or massage blends can be created by blending violet oil with other oils such as chickweed, plantain and comfrey.

Please store your oils in a cool dry place or in the refrigerator and use within one year. If stored in the fridge, the oil will solidify. Bring to room temperature before using.
