Join us for a fun, informative, hands-on workshop on healing with herbs. Learn how simple remedies made with herbs grown in your garden can have a profound healing effect, building health and supporting your immune system. Topics will touch on women’s health, herbs for stress, and using herbs as allies against colds, flu, and chronic viral and inflammatory conditions. Zoe Wilcox-Edrington will share insight to living within the cycles of the moon and sun.

Permaculture Design for the Urban Homestead

Have you wondered how to best get started planning your urban homestead. Permaculture offers design tools for integrated natural homesteads. Learn simple Permaculture design techniques that you can apply to your homestead whether you have a tenth of an acre or ten. Handouts included.

Lacto-Fermented Foods

Join us for a fun hands-on morning of fermentation! Lacto-fermented foods are raw foods full of enzymes and vitamins. Learn the old-fashioned way of preserving vegetables and dairy. There will be plenty of samples and handouts.

Green Farmacy: the Art of Herbal Medicine

Join us for an informative and fun hands-on workshop learning how to make herbal remedies. Topics will include tinctures, infusions & decoctions, syrups, oils, salves, compresses and poultices.
