Wild yarrow flowering tops are hand harvested in June and infused in Greek extra-virgin olive oil. Yarrow has a long history of use for healing bruises, wounds, swellings, strains, soft tumor-like growths, sciatica, rashes and skin irritations. It is also used in Herbal Insect Repellent blends with other herbal oils and essential oils. A healing salve can be made by heating 1 part beeswax to 3 parts yarrow oil. A wonderful green-garden salve can be created by blending yarrow oil with other oils such as chickweed, plantain and comfrey. Please store your oils in a cool dry place or in the refrigerator and use within one year. If stored in the fridge, the oil will solidify. Bring to room temperature before using.
